17. Integration with Google and YouTube

1. Access Authorization: VDClip uses YouTube API Services to enable functionalities such as direct video posting through your Google Account. The integration occurs solely with your express consent, using the OAuth protocol.
2. Use of Data: During the authentication process, we may access basic account information and permissions related to videos, as necessary for the requested functionalities. All data accessed is used only for this purpose and is not shared or sold to third parties.
3. Revocation of Access: You can revoke VDClip's access to your Google Account at any time through the Google Account Permissions page or directly through the platform interface by using the "Remove Account" option in the connected accounts section.
4. Data Deletion: After revocation, we immediately cease any access to your Google Account data. Any locally stored information related to this connection will be deleted according to our data retention policy.
5. External Policies: This policy complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, as well as the Google Privacy Policy. We recommend reviewing these policies to better understand how your data is handled outside of VDClip.

18. Supplementary Terms for International Users:

EEA, Switzerland, and UK

If you are using the Services in the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom (the "European Region"), the following additional terms apply:

E-Commerce Consumer Protection Act:

• Records on order cancellations, payment for purchased items, and delivery of products/services: 5 years
• Records on handling consumer complaints or disputes: 3 years
• Records in advertising and labels: 6 months

Communications Secrets Protection Act:

In addition to the main text of this policy, by using the Services in the United Arab Emirates, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and consent to us sharing your personal data in accordance with the main text of this Privacy Policy.

Applicable law and dispute resolution:

By using our Services in the United Arab Emirates, this Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If there is a conflict between the parties regarding this Privacy Policy:

• When the conflict relates to a claim for an amount within the limits specified by the Small Claims Tribunal of the DIFC from time to time, the conflict shall be referred by either party to the said Tribunal.

Data retention:

We retain your information for the time necessary to provide the service. When we no longer need your information to provide the service, we retain it only as long as we have a legitimate business interest in keeping such data. However, there are situations where we are likely to retain this data for five (5) years (or more, if necessary) in accordance with our legal obligations or when needed for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

After the cessation of using our Services and the five (5)-year retention period, we will retain your information in an aggregated and anonymized format. Non-personally identifiable information may be retained indefinitely for analysis.
